Food Pantry
Our Food Pantry began in 2014,
We had heard from many of our friends on the street that people were selling themselves or their children to just put food on the table. Without hesitation, we said “we can take care of that today”. Off we went to Walmart to buy some food and a shelf. What started off as one small shelf in an office has grown into serving an average of 400 families each week.
Today you will find a very different food pantry than when it began in 2014. The night has truly turned into a Community Night where you can get food, enjoy music, receive prayer, and build community. This happens each week on Thursday nights from 5-7pm.
The last Thursday of each month, you will also find a hot meal that you can enjoy on top of our regular services.
At least once a quarter, you will even be able to join in on a fun time after the food pantry has closed. Maybe it’s watching a movie, laughing with a Christian comedian, or playing games.
The Food Pantry
Is wonderful and we are thankful for it, but what we really cherish is the opportunity to build relationships!
When: Thursdays from 5-7pm (Doors open at 5pm)
What’s Required: Nothing – Simply Come In (One bag per household)
Where: No Boundaries, 904 N. Grand
Additional Information: Must be present to pick up groceries – unfortunately we are not able for others to pick up for a friend. NO ID REQUIRED.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are always looking for individuals or groups to help us serve our friends. Here are some of the ways you can get involved:
- Cooking the Monthly Meal (Normally we cook for approximately 350)
- Serving the Monthly Meal
- Distributing Groceries
- Help Pick Up and Unload Food
- Host a Food Drive (We always need shelf stable food that is not expired)
- Donate (We have the ability to purchase food from our local food bank, so your dollar makes an even bigger impact)
